Britain First is proud of all of our activists who took part in the parliamentary by-election campaign in Wakefield.

Dozens of activists descended on Wakefield from all corners of the country for six weeks continuously.

The police tried to sabotage our campaign, the media refused to report that Britain First was standing, and left-wing elements in the town barraged our campaign with relentless hostility.

Nevertheless, our activists never gave up and were rewarded with a superb result on polling day, beating UKIP and competing with a whole bunch of establishment parties.
